Gatton Medical Centre is a Bulk billing practice and the cost of a consultation will vary according to the time taken and the complexity of the consultation. This includes DVA, Pensioners and Health Care card holders.
- Please call our reception staff if you have any queries regarding our fees for the numerous services we offer.
- All fees must be paid on the day and for your convenience, we provide EFTPOS and credit card facilities.
- If you need to cancel or change an appointment a minimum of 2 hours notice is required. We reserve the right to charge a fee for missed appointments.
APPOINTMENTS
A standard appointment is 10 mins, extra time is required for multiple issues, medicals, counselling, chronic disease management, excision and skin work and emergency care.
FEE STRUCTURE
- All surgery consultations during normal weekday office hours are bulk billed for Medicare Card holders. Patients without a Medicare Card will be a charged for each consultation. House visits will be charged at the Medical Benefit Schedule rate.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please advise reception as early as possible. Failure to cancel an appointment will attract a $25 fee.

The practice provides 24hour care for patients on a roster system shared with other local doctors. Doctors providing after-hours care charge full fees and do not bulk bill. If patients have a problem with this, they may attend the Gatton Hospital free of charge.
